In August 1941, the Germans shot 17-year-old Abram Dolnik for keeping radio parts in his home. Another 15 - 20 young Jewish men were shot with him. The murder operation took place 2 kilometers from the Rudnya station, on the former Doronino country estate.

… In Rudnya and Troyanov 26 Jewish Communists and saboteurs were liquidated.
