The dating of this murder operation is given as autumn 1941 or March 3, 1942 according to different sources. The number of Jewish victims is unknown. The Jews of Ozarichi were shot outside the eastern entrance to the village in the direction of the villages of Khomyachi and Kazansk, about 20 meters from the crossroad of Oktyabrskaya Street and the Bobruysk Road, 10 meters to the right of the road to Khomyachi.

Testimony of Yefim Golod, who escaped to the forest on the way to the shooting site:
... I see a mournful column of people walking through Ozarichi. I am in it with my Mom and Dad.… German shepherd dogs trained specially to attack people are maliciously yelping. The police guards and the Germans are walking silent and dejected. The street ends and the forest begins.… But I also remember another date: March 3, 1942 when all the inmates of the Ozarichi ghetto were taken to be shot, when all my family perished and my Mom pushed me out of the line of people who were about to be shot....
