During July 1941 the Germans murdered several Jews from the ghetto at a location northeast of Slavnoye in the vicinity of Glinniki village, 500 meters from Slavnoye town in the direction of the Tolochin – Krupki road. On March 16 (15), 1942 the ghetto inmates were shot at the same location.

Shlema Shpunt, who was born in 1880, testifies:
... In 1942 about 150 Jews were collected and detained. On March 16, 1942 the Germans surrounded the street where all the Jews lived. After some time [the German gendarmerie] began to take the Jews from their homes and force them alive into pits. Then the gendarmerie went around the pit where the live people were piled together [with dead ones] and sprayed them with bullets from their submachine-guns. There were cases when some Jews remained alive or were only wounded....
Vladimir Sakovets, who was born in 1892, testifies:
... I know that in March 1942 German gendarmes surrounded the street where all the Jews had been forced inside [the ghetto]. Then the Germans began to take them in groups of 5 – 10, shot them, and threw them into pits that had been prepared in advance. This way the German authorities shot 150 people, who were buried on the outskirts of Slavnoye village [town], Tolochin County....
