In November 1941 5 Jewish families from Nogaysk (according to other sources, 28 people), along with 2 Communists, were taken 300 meters west or northwest of the town. At 3 p.m. soldiers from German and Romanian murder squads took them to a 70 meter-long trench in the area of the local brick factory and shot them to death.

On that day a trench was opened west of Nogaysk town, 300 meters from the town in the area of the brick factory, [that was] the shooting site [where] the innocent Soviet civilians were shot by the German Fascist executioners during the occupation of Primorskiy County. When the trench 70 meters long and 1.20 meters wide was opened, 28 corpses were discovered....The following residents of Nogaysk town were among those identified [among the victims]:
3. Dubrovskiy – a Jew, a barber
4. Dubrovskaya – a Jew, a housewife
5.Gorsky – a Jew, who used to work for a wool warehouse office in Nogaysk
6, 7, and 8.Gorskaya– a Jew, a housewife and her daughters, one age 15, and another, a teacher,
9.Zhmud – a Jew, a housewife
In November 1941 a German and a Romanian murder squad arrested all the Jews and some Communists and, at 3 p.m., took them to some trenches. The German monsters took all those innocent civilians to the trench and shot them.
