On November 2, 1941 about 90 Jews of Lvovo were taken 3 kilometers northeast of the village to the animal burial ground and shot dead. The perpetrators of the massacre were members of Einsatzgruppe D.

… In November 1941, on a Sunday, we were working harvesting sunflowers and saw a whole transport being driven along, they were heding toward the animal burial ground, nothing could be seen from afar, only shots could be heard. Upon our return home from work we learned of the brutal massacre….
