During the period from October 16 through mid-December 1941 36 (according to other sources, 32) Jews of various ages were imprisoned and then shot on December 15, 1941 in an anti-tank trench 500 meters from the town.
Soviet Reports from Molochansk
Mass shootings began on October 16, 1941. 32 people were shot. The following last names are mentioned:… Sherer, Ioffe with two children, Peliks and his wife, Algovzen, Reyter and his wife and two children….The graves are located behind the forest nursery and in a well of the veterinarian supply office.
