Vyunishche Related Communities
On November 10, 1941 a German murder squad and some Hungarian soldiers, with the aid of Ukrainian police, carried out an operation in which at least 12 Jews were shot to death near Vyunishche.
On November 16, 1941, with the aid of Ukrainian police, a German murder squad and Hungarian soldiers shot the remaining Jews, numbering at least 66, at the same murder site. The last mass shooting of Sosnitsa Jews in the ravine near Vyunishche was carried out on March 10, 1942, when about 100 Jews were shot.
A total of about 300 Jews from Sosnitsa were murdered near Vyunishche during the German occupation.
