Murder Story of Novo-Zhitomir Jews in Sofiyevka

Sofiyevka was a stopping place for the Jewish forced workers from Novo-Zhitomir and other villages who in December 1942 were being transferred from Shirokoye to the Lyubimovka labor camp. Before the march from Sofiyevka those Jews who were unable to walk to Lyubimovka were shot on the spot by Latvian guards.
