In the fall of 1941 Jews from Yukhovichi were told to collect all of their valuables to prepare for emigration to Palestine. Instead, they were taken to Rossony and murdered there, together with the Jews of Rossony. Their possessions were looted by Germans and local police.
Evgeny Klokov, who was born in 1928 in Yukovichi and stayed for sometime in Rossony during the war years, testified:
… In July 1941 German soldiers occupied our village.… In the fall of 1941, together with my grandfather and my grandmother, I was taken to Rossony, where Grandfather and Grandmother were shot dead the next day.…
