The Jews of Bragin who managed to escape the massacre of the town's Jews on September 13, 1941 but were subsequently caught by the Germans or local auxiliary police were shot in a pit in the yard of the police station in Bragin, mostly in the late fall of 1941. The exact number of victims is not known.
