Interview by Mikhail Tyaglyi and Tatyana Velichko in 2010
- You mentioned another place, where an airfield used to be.
- Yes. We could hear machinegun volleys from there. There were policemen [who collaborated with the Germans] in our village. My father asked one of them, Vasiliy, what it was. He said that they were shooting Jews at the airfield.
- Where was the airfield?
- Beyond Sovetskoye. There were trenches there.
