On February 5, 1942 between 420 and 440 Jews from Osipovichi, women, children, and old people, were taken to the Jewish cemetery on the outskirts of town and shot there.

Alexandra (Sara) Utevskaya, who lived in Osipovichi during the war, testified:
The old people, women, and children suffered from the violation of their dignity and from hunger and cold. They were shot on February 5, 1942 -- a total of about 420 to 440 people.
