Sonya Royfer-Rubinchik, a member of partisan squad 760 from Bobruysk, testifies:
Life in Batsevichi became harder with each passing day. In October 1941, the Germans and [local] policemen entered the town, rounded up all the Jewish men on the pretext of sending them to work, took them to a pit that had been dug in advance, and shot them there. After this operation, we took everyone we could into the forest.
