Nedrigaylov
Ukraine (USSR)
The Nedrygailov County had lain outside the Pale of Settlement prior to the Russian Revolution. Hence, few Jews lived in the town of Nedrygailov. In 1926, the town was home to only 119 Jews, who made up 1.4 percent of the total population. In subsequent years, most of the Jews left Nedrygailov for larger towns and cities, and by 1939 there were only thirty-three Jews left in the town. German troops occupied Nedrygailov on September 22, 1941. In January 1942, the SS killed five Jewish families on the outskirts of the town. The Red Army liberated Nedrygailov on September 8, 1943.
