German troops occupied Bezlesny on August 6, 1942.
After the occupation of the village, the Germans forced the local Jews to perform hard labor. Several months later, probably in late November 1942, some seventy-seven Jews were shot dead by German soldiers in a silo pit.
A number of Jews did not show up for the registration; instead, they were told that they would be evacuated. They were taken away in trucks, and killed near the Kuban River.
The Red Army liberated Bezlesny on January 31, 1943.
