Before the war approximately 1,000 Jews lived in Staryye Dorogi.
Germans occupied Staryye Dorogi in July 7, 1941. On August 6, 1941 all the local Jews were concentrated in a ghetto on four streets. In January 1942 all of them were shot to death.
The Red Army liberated Staryye Dorogi on Hune 28, 1944.
