Apostolovo
Ukraine (USSR)
Jews first settled in Apostolovo at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1939 Apostolov's 81 Jews comprised less than one percent of the total population. A majority of the village's Jews left before the onset of the German occupation in August 1941. The few Jews who remained were murdered outside the village in 1941-1942. Apostolovo was liberated by the Red Army on February 6, 1944.
