Naprasnovka was estsblished as Jewish colony in the 19th century. During the Soviet period, in 1930, 248 Jews lived there. A Yiddish school operated in Naprasnovka. The Germans occupied Naprasnovka at the end of June 1941. The Jews of Naprasnovka were murdered in March 1942. The Red Army liberated the area in June 1944.
