Veer ter, Constantin Everhardus
During the war, Constantin ter Veer was a member of the Zefat group that operated in Emmen and Valthe, Drenthe. Constantin was not so much involved in daily contact with fugitives but played a supporting role, supplying the wherewithal with which to keep the group and its charges alive. His efforts often involved endangering his life and the lives of members of his immediate family.
On November 29, 1979, Yad Vashem recognized Constantin Everhardus ter Veer as Righteous Among the Nations.
