STOLARSKI, HIERONIM
STOLARSKA, BARBARA
During the war, Hieronim and Barbara Stolarski lived in the environs of Warsaw. In 1942, they helped Marian Hochman (later Morris Wasocki) escape the Warsaw ghetto and they subsequently sheltered him in their apartment for a few days. Then, with the help of Edmund Kosk, the Stolarskis put Marian in contact with a partisan group that was active in the forests near Puszcza Kampinowska.
In his testimony to Yad Vashem, Marian wrote: “I survived the war thanks to the assistance of Mr. and Mrs. Stolarski and Edmund Kosk.” After the war, Marian immigrated to the United States.
On March 11, 1993, Yad Vashem recognized Hieronim Stolarski and his wife, Barbara Stolarska, as Righteous Among the Nations.
