ZABILSKI, WŁADYSŁAW Władysław Zabilski lived during the war in Tarnopol (Eastern Galicia) and for ten months, he hid four members of the Nadler family – brothers: Majer and Szymon, Szymon's wife Lora and their son Henio - who had escaped from the local ghetto. Władysław assisted the fugitives both morally and materially, putting himself and his entire family at risk of death. During the war, Władysław was also active in the underground movement, Armia Krajowa, and provided the Nadlers with underground press publications. After the war, the Nadlers immigrated to the United States and Austria; Władysław and his family moved to Opole, in Silesia. On January 27, 1982, Yad Vashem recognized Władysław Zabilski as Righteous Among the Nations. File 2215
