Dehombreux Adeline (Bartelous)

Righteous
Dehombreux (Bartelous), Adeline In early February 1942, Lea Diament, her husband and son Jacques from Brussels, were put in touch with Adeline Dehombreux, who lived in Brussels as well. Adeline, a young woman, graciously offered her home to the three in order to save them from persecution. She took care of all their needs for over two years, until the liberation in September 1944. Her friend Remy Ronsse, who lived in the same apartment, assisted her. In this rescue undertaking, Adeline acted out of human compassion. On December 16, 1969, Yad Vashem recognized Adeline Dehombreux as Righteous Among the Nations.
