A collection of photographs from DP camps, probably in Austria.

The collection was purchased by Rhoda Shochat's father, Mr. Shmuel Yehuda Shochat. Mr. Shochat was sent by the orphanage in Capetown for the purpose of locating orphans and bringing them to South Africa. We don't know from whom he purchased the collection nor where they were photographed, however there are certain details which make it clear that some were photographed in Austria, such as the name written on the Austrian train cars in one of the photographs.
