Collectors propaganda photos documenting the rise of the Nazi Party until 1933.
Photos
The photos were collected (and were mostly shot) by the official photographer of the NSDAP, Heinrich Hoffmann. The series was titled Deutschland Erwacht and was intended for a printed album with the same title. The marks on the reverse side of the photos in this particular collection suggest that they were previously in a postwar sticky stripes album.
