The album documents in particular life in the Landschulheim in Herrlingen. It was directed by Hugo Rosental (Yosef Yeshuvi, after he came to Israel) and hosted in 1933-1939 Jewish children from all over Germany. The original descriptions were written by the original owner of the album, Mariane Hollaender. The additional notes are Hugo Rosenthal's.
Part of the Jewish agricultural school collection in Herllingen, Germany, 1934-38. The album includes photographs of courses that were held in the school, vocational training in various aspects of agriculture and photographs of the pupils' lives and events in the school.
