The album documents in particular life in the Landschulheim in Herrlingen. It was directed by Hugo Rosental (Yosef Yeshuvi, after he came to Israel) and hosted in 1933-1939 Jewish children from all over Germany. The original descriptions were written by the original owner of the album, Mariane Hollaender. The additional notes are Hugo Rosenthal's.
