Lodz, Poland, An album depicting training activities for youth in the ghetto, 1942-1943

90 pages. The album is one of a series of albums found in the ghetto area after the liberation of Lodz. The albums were prepared by the Statistics Department for the Judenrat in the ghetto. A photomontage of the education management staff, photographs by S. Silberstein, Eliyahu Tabakblat, Szmuel Lew, Moshe Karo. A montage of newspaper sections. Photos of children working at a sewing workshop, a locksmith's workshop, a shoemaking workshop and in rug weaving. Statistics of the production at the children's workshops. Photographs of children in the ghetto school, children playing, eating in the dining room, and in the kindergarten.
