Photos
The photograph was taken shortly after Kumm received the "Knights' Cross" as a regiment commander in Waffen-SS Division 2 "Das Reich". In 1942 he became the commander of "Prinz Eugen", the Waffen-SS division, which fought against the partisans in Yugoslavia.

General Alexander Loehr, who commanded Belgared's bombing in 1941.
General Loehr was the commander of Luftflotte 4 during the attack on Yugoslavia. In 1942-43, he was the high commander in the southeast.
