Kati (Deutsch) Yakobovitz (the submitter) was born in Debrecen, Hungary in 1932. She moved to Budapest, Hungary with her family afterwards. Her parents were: Antal Deutsch, who did forced labor in the labor battalions, and Anio Ilana (Lustig) Deutsch, who remained with Kati in a protected house in Budapest. Brudel (the mother of Anio Ilana) died before the war, and Samuel (the father of Anio Ilana) died in the Budapest Ghetto.
