The Jews were deported to Transnistria. In the front is the community rabbi Dov-Berl Yechiel (left). On the right are two rumenian Gendarmes and the principal Ciubotaru of the state elementary school. Ciubotaru, a fanatic anti-Semite, played a central role in orgenizing the deportation. He notified the deportees that they should prepare for a long trip.
