Oswald (1892-1951), head of the economic and administrative department of the SS, was in charge of the equipment for the concentration camps and extermination camps. He was arrested in May 1946 and was sentenced to death by an American court 3/11/1947; he was hanged in Landsberg, Germany on 8/6/1951.
