Born in Germany in 1894. Was a trained musician. Served as deputy commander of the Janowska camp and later commanded a camp in Tarnopol. In July 1943, after the liquidation of the camp, served in Radom and in April 1944 was transferred to a Waffen SS unit in Italy, Not put on trial due to his medical condition.
