Ikhil Chachko was born in Ukraine (USSR), 1899 to Ovshi and Esfir. He was a turner and married to Fania. Prior to WWII he lived in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine (USSR). During the war he was in Barnaul, Russia (USSR). Ikhil was killed in military service in WWII. Place of death: the Soviet armed forces, 17/08/1943.
Among the Jewish soldiers killed in WWII, especially in the Red Army, tens of thousands were singled out and murdered as Jews while in captivity as prisoners of war.
