Bela Boguslavskaya was born, 1900 to Naum. She was a midwife. Prior to WWII she lived in Pavlograd, Ukraine (USSR). During the war she was in Prokhladny,Kabardino Balkarskaya ASSR,Russia (USSR), Russia (USSR). Bela was registered following the evacuation/ in the interior of the Soviet Union.
Following the Nazi onslaught on 22 June 1941, about one and a half million Jewish residents of the Soviet Union were evacuated or fled to the interior of the country. They had to leave everything behind and find refuge in difficult conditions of food scarcity, harsh weather and disease.
