Yeva Averbukh was born, 1906 to Pinka. She was a nanny and married to Naum. Prior to WWII she lived in Konstantinovka, Ukraine (USSR). During the war she was in Krasnouralsk, Russia (USSR). Yeva was registered following the evacuation/ in the interior of the Soviet Union.
Following the Nazi onslaught on 22 June 1941, about one and a half million Jewish residents of the Soviet Union were evacuated or fled to the interior of the country. They had to leave everything behind and find refuge in difficult conditions of food scarcity, harsh weather and disease.
