Zunya Aizenberg was born in Korosten, Ukraine (USSR), 1921 to Shlomo and Brushka. Prior to WWII he lived in Korosten, Ukraine (USSR). During the war he was in the Soviet armed forces. Zunya was killed in military service in WWII.
Large numbers of Jewish soldiers serving in the Allied military forces, many of them in the Soviet army, were killed in combat or died of battle wounds.
