Nina Kamenskaya was born, 1907 to Daniil and Vera. She was a physician and married to Ivan. Prior to WWII she lived in Stary Krym, Russia (USSR). During the war she was in Krasnodar, Russia (USSR). Nina was registered following the evacuation/ in the interior of the Soviet Union.
Following the Nazi onslaught on 22 June 1941, about one and a half million Jewish residents of the Soviet Union were evacuated or fled to the interior of the country. They had to leave everything behind and find refuge in difficult conditions of food scarcity, harsh weather and disease.
