Abrasha Mankovski was born in Pereyaslav, Ukraine (USSR), 1920 to Elya and Tzipa. He was a soldier. Prior to WWII he lived in Kiyev, Ukraine (USSR). During the war he was in the Soviet armed forces. Abrasha was killed in military service in WWII.
Large numbers of Jewish soldiers serving in the Allied military forces, many of them in the Soviet army, were killed in combat or died of battle wounds.
