Meyer Borovinski was born in Novo Vitebsk, Ukraine (USSR), 1924 to Khaim and Khaia nee Mirson. He was a student and child. Prior to WWII he lived in Novo Vitebsk, Ukraine (USSR). During the war he was in the Soviet armed forces. Meyer was killed in military service in WWII. Place of death: Feodosiya, Russia (USSR), 1941.
Among the Jewish soldiers killed in WWII, especially in the Red Army, tens of thousands were singled out and murdered as Jews while in captivity as prisoners of war.
