Lev Rzhevsky was born in Glussk, Belorussia (USSR), 1923 to Iche Gerson and Itka. He was a bookkeeper. Prior to WWII he lived in Glussk, Belorussia (USSR). During the war he was in the Soviet armed forces. Lev was killed in military service in WWII. Place of death: Stalingrad, Russia (USSR), 23/09/1942.
Among the Jewish soldiers killed in WWII, especially in the Red Army, tens of thousands were singled out and murdered as Jews while in captivity as prisoners of war.
