Rabbi Simcha Shlomo Gitelevicius was born in Virbalis, Lithuania, 1889 to Yitzkhak and Idl. He was a head of a yeshiva and married to Bila Shifra nee Rathhaus. Prior to WWII he lived in Kaunas, Lithuania. During the war he was in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Rabbi Gitelevicius was murdered in the Shoah. Place of death: Fort 7, Lithuania, 1941.
