Naum Markusenko was born in Gomel, Belorussia (USSR), 1917 to Grigoriy. He was a driver. Prior to WWII he lived in Gomel, Belorussia (USSR). During the war he was in the Soviet armed forces. Naum was killed in military service in WWII. Place of death: Lokachi, Poland, 24/06/1941.
Among the Jewish soldiers killed in WWII, especially in the Red Army, tens of thousands were singled out and murdered as Jews while in captivity as prisoners of war.
