Perl Piri Wettenstein nee Mendlovic was born in Certizne, Czechoslovakia, 1908 to Shlomo and Bracha. She was a housewife and married to Dezidor. Prior to WWII she lived in Munkacevo, Czechoslovakia. During the war she was in Munkacevo, Czechoslovakia. Perl Piri was murdered in the Shoah. Place of death: Auschwitz, Poland, 04/1944.
During the Shoah, Jews were murdered in a variety of ways, among them gassing, shooting, burning, drowning or burial alive, exhaustion through forced labor, starvation, epidemic diseases, deprivation of medical care and minimal hygienic conditions, and more.
