Flames in the Ashes

Against the background of archival films excerpts, the testimonies of survivors, formerly members of underground resistance movements, are heard; they tell about revolts and resistance actions against the Nazis. "Flames in the Ashes" is the third in a series of three films about the Holocaust produced by the Ghetto Fighters Museum. It is preceded by "The 81st Blow” about the rise of antisemitism in Europe and the Holocaust (see V-1048) and "The Last Sea" about the period after the Holocaust (see: V-1005/2) follows it.
