Tragical lots of Joseph and Wiktoria Ulm family from Markowa. During occupation they were hiding in their house eight Jews. On 24-th of March Germans murdered the Jews and they also bestially killed Joseph , Wiktoria and their six children

he film shows the remembrance of the Ulmas both among the Poles and the Jews. The film director found the children and grandchildren of the people who survived the German occupation in Markowa. IPN historians estimate that during the German occupation in direct or indirect support to the Jews involved from 0, 5 million to 1 million Poles. It happened, as did also the person reluctant to persecuted people. Their attitude was the realization of a Christian order of charity. Poles were murdered or sent to concentration camps.
