Documentary film about the Holocaust of the Romani people in Czech territories, made for the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Romani Culture in Brno. The film draws from archival sources, as well as testimonies given by witnesses of the Romani Holocaust.
Museum of Romani Culture was founded in 1991 in Brno,Czech Republic based on the initiative of Romani and non-Romani Czech intellectuals and experts and with support from the Czech Ministry of Culture. The mission and activity of the museum follows the heritage of the Association of the Gypsies-Romanies (1969 – 1973). It is the first, and so far the only, institution of its kind in Europe. In Volume III, there are the stories of many Gypsies who, according to their customs and tales, came from various regions in Old India and from many unrelated castes. Their stories in Volume III show for the first time in Gypsy studies that the "Roma" were not one people, with one language, nor with the same traditions. From their customs, it is possible to recognize Kashmiri, Punjabi and Rajasthan castes from northwest India; the Gond, Ghasia and Sais castes from central India, and even the Tamil from south India.

A Gypsy family travels the French roads during the Second World War, followed by Little Claude, a young boy seeking a new family after his parents "left and never returned". Upon reaching a town where they traditionally stop for a few months and work in vineyards, they learn that a new law forbids them from being nomadic.
