A documentary. Gisi Fleischmann helped to save thousands of Jews during the dark period of the Slovak and European history. Today, her name is known mostly to historians, but she was once a legendary member of the "Working Group", an underground resistance group active in Slovakia. This documentary" tells the story of the Gisi, torn between the sense of responsibility for her large community and for her own family. The film also bears witness to the way the contemporary Slovak society tries to deal with its past.
