סדרת סרטי מקור קצרים בהפקת בית הספר הבינלאומי להוראת השואה ביד ושם. סיפורה של בת שבע דגן.בת-שבע דגן נולדה בלודז' שבפולין ב-1925. אביה שלמה-פישל היה בעל בית מלאכה לאריגה, ואמה פייגה הייתה תופרת. לבת-שבע היו חמישה אחים ושלוש אחיות. עם פרוץ המלחמה בת-שבע ואביה הצליחו להגיע לראדום. בהמשך שיחד אביה חייל גרמני וזה הבריח את אמה ואת שתי אחיותיה לעיר. בני המשפחה הועברו לגטו הגדול בעיר. באוגוסט 1942 הופרדו בת-שבע ואחותה הצעירה סבינה מההורים ומהאחות הגדולה גניה, שנשלחו לטרבלינקה. בת-שבע וסבינה הועברו לגטו הקטן ובהמשך הן החליטו לברוח לגרמניה. סבינה נהרגה במהלך ניסיון הבריחה. בת-שבע הגיעה לעיר שוורין בגרמניה תחת זהות של מכרה...

The Auschwitz Report

A feature film. This is the true story of Freddy (Alfréd Wetzler) and Walter (Rudolf Vrba) two Slovak Jews, who were deported to Auschwitz in 1942. On 10 April 1944, after planning and with the help of their inmates, they manage to escape. They hope that their evidence could save lives. They make their way through the mountains back to Slovakia and finally manage to cross the border and meet the resistance and The Red Cross. They compile a detailed report about the systematic genocide at the camp. However, with Nazi propaganda and international liaisons still in place, their account seems to be too harrowing...

Weil used tricks outmaneuver all the Nazi bureaucracy and their collaborators in order to flee concentration camps and to survive. After the war, Weil became a wonderful artist who most of the time focused with his paintings on beautiful subjects - above all women. Manfred Weil survived every kind of distress until he died of a natural death aged nearly 95. The film was shown at stranger than fiction 2016, Germany. .

Four Winters: A Story of Jewish Partisan Resistance in WWII

Although the Nazis seized and killed millions of Jews during World War II, they failed to capture an estimated 25,000 who escaped into the forests of Eastern Europe. These young men and women fought back, carrying out deadly acts of sabotage, staging ambushes, and waging clandestine warfare against the Nazis and their collaborators. It tells the story of how these young adults transformed into guerrilla soldiers and survived.
