A documentary film. In April 1944, the least known great escape of WW2 took place. Rudolf Vrba and Alfred Wetzler, Slovak Jews, succeeded in escaping from the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp, with help of the camp underground, and overcoming difficulties and dangers they reach Žilina, Slovakia. There, before the heads of the Jewish community, they testify about the extermination of the Jews in the camp. Their written testimony becomes the "Auschwitz Protocol of Vrba and Wetzler."
