Anne Frank, Then and Now

A docudrama. It explores the lives of Anne Frank and the eight Palestinian girls cast to play her in a retelling of Frank’s famous diary. The film was shooting in Gaza in July when the Zuk Eitan war broke out. The poised and pensive girls seen here alternate between reciting moving passages from Frank’s diary and commenting on such related topics as love, religion and war from a contemporary Muslim perspective. The uneasy state of Israeli-Palestinian relations, occasionally underscored by pointed local imagery, informs these often heartfelt chats. This film and it's director are both controversial.

סרט תיעודי קצר מתוך פרויקט סרטי אנימציה במסגרת קורס בנושא "עיצוב מדיית מסך" בהנחיית דנה בן דוד ובהשראת פרויקט "לאסוף את השברים" של יד ושם לימודי תקשורת חזותית ב- HIT מכון טכנולוגי חולון. במשך 6 שנים מזוויעות, תיארה פרידה (פרנצה) זיסר את השגרת הבלתי נתפסת של אישה יהודייה בשואה. היומן מתחיל במרס 1941, כשהסובייטים עדיין שולטים במזרח פולין והיא נושאת ברחמה את בתה הבכורה, היחידה שתהיה לה - ומסתיים בשנת 1946 במחנה הפליטים בצפון איטליה, ערב עלייתה של פרידה לארץ, לבדה. "ביום גורלי אחד מתארת פרידה כיצד תכננה את בריחתה מהגטו במטרה לחזור עם אוכל לבתה התינוקת ולחמותה, לבה נקרע כאשר היא נאלצת לעזוב את בתה. למרבה הצער חמותה...

סרט תיעודי קצר מתוך פרויקט סרטי אנימציה במסגרת קורס בנושא "עיצוב מדיית מסך" בהנחיית דנה בן דוד ובהשראת פרויקט "לאסוף את השברים" של יד ושם לימודי תקשורת חזותית ב- HIT מכון טכנולוגי חולון. הרב אורי פייביש טאובר גורש לגטו מוגילב-פודולסקי, שם לימד עברית ותנ"ך בבית יתומים. ב-1944 נסגר המקום והילדים נשלחו לארץ ישראל. אלמנתו מסרה ליד ושם יומן שניהל שם ומחברות זיכרון שכתבו לו הילדים.
