Journal De Rivesaltes 1941-1942

Documentary film about the Rivesaltes camp, a camp of families close to the French-Spanish border in southern France, which was managed by the Vichy government. German-Jewish prisoners were sent to the camp from the Saar, Baden and Palatinate regions. The film is based on testimony of Freidel Bohny-Reiter, formerly a nurse in the camp on behalf of the OSE organization, a Swiss aid organization (Le Secours Suisse). Includes testimonies and archival photographs.

סרטי תיעודי קצר על סיפור הישרדותה של רות לברם-קנופ, ניצולת שואה מגרמניה. בגיל 16 לפני פרוץ המלחמה, התקבלה לבית ספר לאחיות בבית החולים היהודי בברלין. שם הכירה את בעלה לעתיד, אך התחתנה איתו שנים רבות אחרי המלחמה. ב 1943 נלקחה לגטו טרזיאנשטאט, ושוחררה קצת לפני סוף המלחמה ע"י הצלב האדום. אחרי המלחמה רות היגרה לארצות הברית, אך בשנות ה-60 התחתנה עם חבר שלה, כירורג יהודי שעבדה איתו בבית החולים היהודי בברלין בתקופת המלחמה, וחזרה שוב לגרמניה. הראיון אם רות צולם ביוני 1994 בבית הקברות היהודי בברלין. רות לברם קנופ נפטרה בגיל 85 ב-21 למרץ 2008 בניו ג'רסי, ארה"ב.
